Brain Overload....

Is it love or friendship?....
Am I right or wrong?....
Am I good or bad?....
No I am not going to tell you that I am in love with my best friend and I am confused. This post is about something totally different. Actually my brain is running on a circular path trying to find the point where it started from....

I heard it somewhere that Good and Bad/Right and Wrong/Rewards and Punishments are two sides of the same coin. I got a bit confused. What that would mean is that they are different but very closely related to one idea. Is it so? Does it mean that if I toss this coin and assign heads to right and tails to wrong. I would either get right or wrong and if I get heads, does that really mean its right???????

I suppose it is right, but only if I am tossing the coin. If the coin is tossed by someone else and if he thinks head is wrong and tails is right then what?? All of a sudden things start appearing differently. Think of it, with great power comes great responsibility. So, does that make the power a blessing or a curse because without the power you have an easy going, fun and not so fulfilling life and with the power you have an hectic, painful, less time for yourself and your family kind of life.

Now does that mean that they are the same things but looked upon differently or looked from a different point of view...

I don't get it, I don't know if there is a conclusion to this. The only thing that I can think of is that there is no right and wrong/good or bad. There are no set rules. For all that I know what I am writing might appear totally wrong to people reading it.

Here is something else for you to think about. There is a thin line between love and friendship right? A friend told me once, "There are no lines. Love is love. I love you, I love my girl, I love my mom and dad. As I see things there is no difference in love just the name of the relationships differ."

There is no conclusion to this post. I am still thinking about it.....

If we removed all the labels ... what would be left?

Are you familiar with Tao? In my understanding, it is a path created by the natural ... by the natural character of existence. For example, if a Tiger kills a rabbit, is it bad? Is it good? No ... it's just what the Tiger does. It's only humans who label things. And the minute we do, there's a different connotation ... a moral judgment.

So, perhaps ... rather than attach a label and look for the good or bad ... maybe we need to just accept something as ... it is. To learn and follow the natural essence of all life. Removing labels has helped me to put many things in perspective and to see them as they are rather than seeing them through a man-made filter.

I hope I didn't "muddy the waters"! :)

Right/ wrong...heaven/hell....good/evil are just perspective my friend.
What can be heaven for one, is hell for others. Good for one, bad for other.
My friend from Delhi things its good for her to run away from home to marry her bf, but her fathers says its bad.
Finally all it matters is we respect others belief.
Cheers,
SiD

P.s. I hope my comment isn't "bad" ;)

Right & Wrong... Good & Bad... Perspectives...Karma... Dharma...

Love... an inadequate human linguistic effort to generalize and describe most times heterogeneous but always complex feelings / emotions / reactions...

Now that this is getting to heavy for me... and since even I can’t understand what I have written in the line above…

I publish this comment… and proceed to choke myself…

Dude! Relationships are meant to be experienced... not analyzed! @-)
Give your mind a break! Go with the flow... do whatever your heart tells you to... there is no right or wrong... there is only "action" and "reaction"!

Small footprints: Great start to the comments I must say... I had not heard of Tao but I am going to google it right now...
I agree we people put labeln on everything. We use these labels to define things and then set rules and guidelines...
I stopped using labels myself when I started looking into things from the perspective of the person trying to proove me wrong... Helped me calm down in life...

SID: Welcome to my place... I hope you like it and enjoy it... From my point of view your comment was great ;)
We definitely need to respect each others thoughts... wonder how many problems that would solve...

Mind Meanders: Wow!! Man that was like a quick bouncer man... bounced right over me and even the keeper behind me :) (too much of IPL)

Kaddu: I mostly do what I feel like and hence have always been tagged as a rebel by many...
"Relatioships are supposed to be experienced... not analyzed"- I suppose no analysis can be done without research or experience or experiments ;) wat say??

Total brain overload. But like I said in your other post, you do ask a lot of questions, and there is just one answer. And you have to face it. The heart knows best!! Just look within.
