Prisoner of Thoughts

Hey people... it has been quite a while since my last post. The reason is that I was busy attending my cousin's marriage in a place called Lucknow. So, you can expect a few posts about that trip. As for this one I have something great for you... A break from me (Not funny I know)... But here is the very first guest post on my blog. The author is a really close friend of mine, actually the person who gave me the idea of starting a blog... This is his first post in a while so let me know if he has still got it. Here goes, the post is called the Prisoner of Thoughts.

We feel we know the best (isn’t it). What we see and feel is right and we give our best in any given situation......

This should hold true with most of us, if not trust me something needs to be corrected immediately. It’s important to hold on tightly to your thoughts and stand by them & fight with conviction.

I personally felt this for very long time that I am a sensible person; always used to get into the other persons shoes before sharing my thoughts/ actions. At times I succeeded, at time I didn’t but never gave up even when the wind was flowing hard from the other end. It’s destined, that things will go wrong at times & you need to come back strong every time.

I feel different now, it’s stupid not to take umbrella if it’s snowing & be confident about not falling sick. There are times you are confident and not seeing the clouds coming strong. No harm if u listen to others and take preventive action, rather than getting hit by ice balls falling from the sky. Again, It might be only ice balls that hit you, but God forbid if you got caught in a tornado, it will take a lot around you.

Don’t see what you can’t & if needed see what you can with the help of spectacles in dust storm.

Umbrella / Spectacle – What are we talking here!!!!!!!

Don’t be the Prisoner of your own thoughts, share it & always stay ahead in life with the help
We all have someone around; go grab your pair of spectacle.

Haha, I think he's still got it... although I have never used an umbrella in the snow. Here in the States, we just let it fall on our heads =)

I got a little confused, but I think I managed to get the gist of it - that you shouldn't rely on your own perspective to get you along. That's really true, and you have to have friends and family to keep you accountable and to help you along.

Great post!

Wow... i guess those sentences, though really weird and confusing, have started me thinking that i am actually a prisoner of my own thoughts. Some of the reasons are, being the eldest in my group, being the person who has travelled the most in my group and the only goddamn person who earns in my group of friends.... I never really seem to care what the other guy thinks and always try to put in my thought into their heads.....

This post tells me that my friends are taking advantage of my friendship and not vice versa.. I guess i shud start listening to them too... Ive got my Spectacles on, now lemme go get my Umbrella.... Cheers

It's quite nice- a tad under constructed, but I don't know if that is your friend's style...

Flight, Teja and mixedblessings- Thanks for the comments. They have been conveyed to my friend and you can surely expect him here expressing his thanks (he told me that he would)...
